Data is the key to unlocking the potential of healthcare innovation for better population care model.
From the array of technological possibilities, pioneered by medtech and clinical practitioners, comes the sequel contemplation on sustainable data usage.
How do you manage the multifaceted challenges associated with data governance and cybersecurity risks so that data integrity and research intents are adhere to?
How do we service meaningful data transactions to support our healthcare innovations and services across multi-stakeholders?
ST Engineering will be sharing our experience from a critical information infrastructure perspective.
In first half of the day, we will present our projects that are executed in partnership with healthcare service providers and clinical practitioners.
These digitalisation efforts are part of the longer term collaboration in supporting our Singapore Public Healthcare.
In the afternoon, we will dialogue with thought-leaders in the field, to understand the challenges of quality data access and mindshare possibilities on approach to support data utilisation, and harness the potential of Data Mining, AI and Data Analytics.
We are pleased to have a distinguished panel of leaders from a broad spectrum in healthcare practice – Ranging from medical practitioners, technologist, healthcare insurance, data science, academic researchers and entrepreneurs.

Yoke Fun Chiang
Senior Vice President and Head of Singapore Digital Business, ST Engineering
An evangelist and enabler in driving Advanced Analytics and AI technology, Yoke Fun works closely with both private and public sectors to elevate the know-how and implementation of strategic analytics implementation and mining the insights from data. Prior to joining ST Engineering, Yoke Fun led various analytics projects in financial and commercial sectors and IT application, outsourcing and complex system projects, both locally and internationally, with SAS, Microsoft and IBM. She is lends her insights and perspectives.as both an advisor and practitioner in her field.

Currently as Head Data Science, his key focus is to harness innovative technologies and capabilities with Artificial Intelligence for the purpose of Information

AVP / Head, Centre of Excellence XR, Training & Simulation Systems, ST Engineering
Jonathan drives the Extended Reality (XR) and 3D Human Machine Interface (HMI) initiatives for the training and simulation business, and is deeply involved in enabling immersive learning experiences for organisations. With close to 20 years of experience in programming and computer systems, his blend of expertise ranges from embedded software, web applications to enterprise IT Services.
Yu Na
Senior Dental Surgen, National Dental Centre Singapore, Asst Prof, DUKE-NUS Medical School
Dr Yu Na is a Senior Dental Surgeon at the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and Assistant Professor at the DUKE-NUS Medical School. Trained as a dentist and prosthodontist, she subsequently obtained her PhD in Medical Science at Faculty of Dentistry from Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. She is the first dentist in Singapore to have obtained the Clinician-Scientist Award from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
As director and theme lead of medtech research for oral-health Academic Clinical Programme at DUKE-NUS Medical School, much of her research work is focused on innovative workflows for digital dentistry, including digital processing, 3D printing of dental appliances, novel biomaterials and regenerative dentistry.
Calvin Lim
Senior Scientist at Institute of High Performance Computing, A*Star
Dr Lim Chi Wan Calvin is a senior scientist in the Fluid Dynamic Department at the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC). He has background experiences in computational geometry, especially in surface reconstruction from point clouds. He is also keenly involved with algorithmic development related to mesh generation/processing, both in industry related projects and academic grants. He has a good understanding of mesh pre-processing, feature reduction, and geometrical-based reconstruction. His interest lies in the application of geometrical knowledge on the conversion of raw-data input for scientific simulation & processing.
Chun Beng Ng

Chun Beng joined ST Engineering Mission Software & Services Pte. Ltd. since 2001 as a Software Engineer. He has 20 years of service with the company and has taken various roles such as Software development, Project/program manager, Director Operations and Head of a business unit
Currently, he is managing the Engineering and Agile Development Services to build up the competency of the engineering team.
With his years of experience in building and ensuring the operability of Emergency response systems, he is leading a team of elite engineers to build our next generation product, and he concurrently holds the role of product manager for the AGIL Ops Hub.Melvin Ng

Stephanie spearheads the Cloud Business at ST Engineering, bringing cloud fluency and capturing exponential market opportunities. Together with her team, she strengthens ST Engineering’s capabilities in providing digital resilience and essential services in the critical infrastructure sectors for the sustainability of smart cities. Stephanie joined ST Engineering in 2018 to lead the Singapore Business. She enjoys co-creating innovative ideas, strengthening strategic alliances in the digitalisation and business transformation for customers and partners. She is the Chairperson for Women @ ST Engineering council committee and was SG 100 IT Women in 2020. She also championed cross companies Mentor Connect Program in 2019-2020. She is also a member of the Cloud Security Alliance APAC Research Advisory Council (APRAC).
Jeremy Lim

Assoc Prof Jeremy Lim is director for global health in the School and leads the initiatives in health systems strengthening and universal health coverage. He brings diverse and unique perspectives having spent substantial time in public and private healthcare across Asia as well as in policy advisory with Singapore's Ministry of Health, the World Bank and the World Health Organization. Outside academia, Jeremy is CEO of AMILI , the region’s first precision microbiome company & serves on the boards of various for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in different aspects of healthcare including migrant worker health, end of life care and digital health interventions. He trained in surgery and public health, attaining post-graduate qualifications in both from the UK and US.
Lawrence Wee
Deputy Director, Data Analytics, Ministry of Health
Dr. Lawrence Wee is a scientist and innovator in healthcare. At the Ministry of Health, he leads the strategic development of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Prior to this role, he was responsible for driving health-related AI capabilities and innovation for Allianz Asia-Pacific and Zuellig Pharma.Earlier in his career, he was responsible for leading the healthcare and biomedical analytics laboratory at the Institute of Infocomm Research, where he managed research initiatives at the intersection of machine learning, healthcare and biomedicine. Dr. Wee sits on the scientific advisory boards of technology startups in cybersecurity, medtech and healthtech, and speaks regularly at international conferences in artificial intelligence, data and healthcare. He was previously the President of the Association for Medical and Bio informatics Singapore, AMBIS.
Ramesh Rajentheran
Founder & CEO, Miya Health
Dr Ramesh Rajentheran is Executive Chairman and CEO of Miya Health. He is well-respected healthcare senior executive who also possess extensive experience as a healthcare practitioner as well as a global healthcare banker. A veteran of the healthcare industry, Dr Ramesh was the former CFO and COO at Fullerton Health, Asia’s largest managed care business. Other notable roles throughout his career include his time as a Director & Global Healthcare Specialist at Barclays (London), as the Executive Director of Morgan Stanley (London) and as Associate Director at UBS (London), where he researched, sold and helped trade Global Healthcare stocks and derivatives. Dr Ramesh graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery where he was a Commonwealth/Chevening scholar. He also holds an MBA in Finance from the London Business School, United Kingdom. He serves on the board of Engineering Good, a humanitarian engineering charity in Singapore.

David Talinovsky, COO of SecuPi, is an experienced Cyber Security and IT Executive with in-depth knowledge in Data protection, Data Governance and Compliance enforcement. He leads the business development and strategic initiatives. He remains focused on helping enterprise customers connect between the business requirements and IT Capabilities while deploying practical approaches for data governance. David holds a B.A. Degree in Business Administration. David is a creator, a leader, and is passionate about building things from scratch to completion.
Meng Ling 'Mornin' Feng
Senior Assistant Director, National University Health System,;Assistant Director of Research (Healthcare), Institute of Data Science, Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore
Dr Feng's research is to develop machine learning algorithms to extract actionable knowledge from large amount of data to enable better quality of healthcare. His research brings together concepts and tools across deep learning, optimization, signal processing, statistical causal inference and big data management. Dr. Feng’s work was recognized by both well-established journals, such as Science Translational Medicine, JAMA and top international conferences, such as KDD, AAAI and AMIA.
