The Workshop & Hackathon: Advancing Healthcare Services with Artificial Intelligence is a one-day online and in person event co-organized by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and SAS Institute for healthcare professionals, students and data scientists. The event starts off with the Healthcare AI Webinar with distinguished speakers on AI.

 

Hear directly from one of the world’s most influential Chief Technology Officers - Dr Eng Lim Goh, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence at HPE. A Shell Cambridge University Scholar, Dr Goh will cover how to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence in delivering quicker insights in a data intensive world of the healthcare industry. A frequent industry speaker, Dr. Goh has been credited with six patents and has also co-presented with NASA at the inaugural 1st plenary of the Supercomputing 2014 Conference.

 

You will also hear from Dr Mark Lambrecht (PhD), Director of Global Health and Life Sciences Practice at SAS, who will share on how advanced analytics such as optimization, forecasting and epidemiological modeling can help public health and life sciences companies in this pandemic. He will also share on real-life use cases and the role of AI and machine learning in the future of healthcare.

 

This is followed by the Lifecycle of Analytics Demo Workshop and Webinar, where in-person and online attendees will learn about the entire analytics lifecycle and familiarize themselves with SAS analytics technology and tools. Next will be the Hands-On Lab training. Finally, participants will work in teams to build innovative solutions in the in-person Half Day Hackathon.
